FAQs
Can I visit your facility and meet your dogs before placing a deposit or picking my new puppy?
Our “facility” is our home and private residence. All of our puppies are raised here and cared for by our family. We aren’t a pet store with business hours open to the public. This is not our full time job, - it is a wonderful hobby, but still the days are filled with taking care of new puppies, parent dogs and lots of other chores, and of course office work and scheduling families for “Gotcha-Day! Besides operating a horse farm, we do have a large family and we are blessed by growing it with grandchildren, and will always say “Family first”. We are very protective of our dogs and puppies and will not take any chance of anybody carrying anything on them that would make our puppies sick, or in the worst case, be lethal to our very young puppies. For the safety of our dogs and young puppies as well as our family, we do not allow tours of our home and facility. We will have wonderful photo updates and videos on our facebook page and webpage. Thank you for your understanding.
What is the wait time for a puppy?
This is the most asked question, and we wish we had a perfect answer! Your wait time could be shorter or longer depending on the size of the litter and how many boys or girls we will get, and if a litter that we have planned works out as we hoped for. If you are open to a boy or girl, meaning whatever comes first, your wait time could be pretty short. Please note that our litters are generally spoken for well before they are even born. Please look over our website and Facebook page and fill out an application (email us for password) if you would like to reserve your spot in line on our waiting list.
Do you have any puppies available now?
No we do not, because we always have a waiting list, and as soon as we have a litter born the puppies are reserved and already have an excited forever family waiting for each one of them. I do not breed for quantity or frequency or just to have “puppies for sale” but instead for quality. So if you are seriously interested in one of our puppies, you must be willing to wait, and for us it is a great blessing to know that the forever family thought it well through, and are ready and prepared when their puppy is born.
I have more questions, can I call you?
Email is our preferred method of contact and this is the quickest way to get information about our German breeding program, puppies available and litters that are planned. We can answer emails early in the morning or later in the evening or quick in between our chores. We would love to speak to everyone that is inquiring, but it is just not possible since we are getting so many inquiries. On some days we would be on the phone all day long. We are busy caring for our dogs and puppies, and of course we are also busy with our horse farm and would like to spend time with our family. On our Facebook page we have lots of reviews, also feel free to ask any of our puppy families that you see on our Facebook page about the adoption process of their Weberschlösschen puppy, and I am sure they would be very happy to share their experience. Of course we will try to return all our calls at a timely matter, but as it is stated you might get a quicker answer via email. PLEASE no Sunday call, but feel free to email us any time :)
