WAITING LIST

We never have puppies just available, we always have a waiting list! How it works: If you would like to be placed on our waiting list a deposit ($500 non refundable deposit, applies to final purchase price) will reserve your spot in line. It is never too early to get on our list! The sooner you do the better chance you have of getting the puppy you want. Please check out our Facebook page for more information on our current and future litters. Updates will be posted in our “Waiting List” Facebook group on ALL of our litters for everyone to see. You will be approved to join this group once you have completed your non-refundable reservation fee agreement form (provided upon request) and your reservation fee has been received. We will then contact you individually (email or phone) when we have puppies available.

APPLICATION

We don’t have a lengthy application form, but would like to hear about you, the forever family and the puppy’s new home, before we sent out our deposit contract to be on our waiting list.

Please contact us first, read over the detailed information including pricing and wait time for a puppy, and then I will be glad to give you the password for the application!

Reservation Fee

After we get your application, and we think you will make a great forever family for our puppies, we will email you our deposit contract. We are always accepting reservation fees for our future puppies! Reservation fee is $500 and will go towards the final purchase price of your puppy. The reservation fee is non-refundable but are transferable to any future litter. You are more than welcome to skip any available litter and wait for the perfect puppy. We allow 2 roll overs to a future litter. We place everyone on our list in order of the reservation fee received. In the event a litter is not produced like we had hoped for, then your reservation fee will go towards our next available litter. By placing your reservation fee with us we assume you agree to these terms. The reservation fee is nonrefundable: please only place a reservation fee if you are certain you will be ready for a new puppy in the next 18 months! We like the “old fashioned way” by sending a personal check for the deposit. If you are out of the country, we do have a PayPal account but fees must ​be included in the transaction for the total amount received of $500.00 Or ZELLE bank to bank transfer no fees. Also please note, we reserve the right to void the reservation fee transaction & refund the reservation fee for any reason.

PUPPY PICK-OUT 

For those on our waiting list, we will update everyone when a litter is born and will contact you individually when we have puppies available. We will provide weekly photo updates as the puppies grow prior to choosing as well as up until they leave so that you can continue to watch your puppy grow and mature. If you are set on a specific gender, size or a puppy from a specific mating, the wait time might be a bit longer. If you aren’t waiting for a particular gender, size or specific mating, you will likely have the opportunity to get your puppy sooner. Our puppies are very much alike in looks and disposition, it is like splitting hair: there is not a “wrong” pick! Only puppies that have passed ours and our Veterinarian’s inspection will be available for adoption -we want to make more than 100% sure that all is well before making the puppy available. In all the years we have been raising these dachshund puppies, we’ve never had an unhappy family, and everyone gets “THEIR” puppy! We will let waiting families have a say of the pick in order of the waiting list usually around when the puppies are 5-6 weeks old, and as I mentioned before, in all the years we never had an unhappy family, it always seems to work out that every family gets THEIR puppy.

FINAL PAYMENTS

Final payment on your puppy is due on pick up day. Final payments can be made via check or cash.

HEALTH GUARANTEE/REFUNDS

After the puppy has left our care, the new family has 3 days to take the puppy in to see a vet for a physical examination. If the puppy were to be found in ill health with any life-threatening disease, the cause of which we as breeders were to blame, only then can the puppy be returned for a full refund. We do not give an extended health guarantee, since there are too many variables as far as the individual care for the puppy, over feeding, overweight, sometimes puppies are unfortunately dropped have a fall/injury, or certain treatments given we are not recommending (flea/tick) or any environmental toxin (smoking within the home) which can cause issues. We do not recommend neutering/spraying, the result of this alteration of can cause secondary diseases. Our puppies are sold as pet puppies, we will not guarantee that male puppies will have both testicles as an adult dog.

ABSOLUTELY NO SHIPPING

Absolutely NO shipping: we never did and we never will ship one of our puppies. We have puppies all over the US (even Alaska), Canada, Mexico, Venezuela, Puerto Rico, and Germany, but all families came to meet us and pick up their puppy. We enjoy meeting the new families and love placing our puppies in the arms of its new forever family. We do understand that there are situations were a families just cannot make the drive or flight to get their puppy, this is why we started to work with this professional, experienced and highly recommended flight nanny service

The owner of the company Mrs. Shelly-Ann Cawley transported several puppies for us, and pick up new breeding dog in Germany. We are very impressed with the communication, updates during the trip and the overall professional service, -hence we highly recommend them for our puppies if here is a need for transportation.

BREEDING RIGHTS

Each puppy will be sold as a pet puppy ONLY. Since it is healthier for our puppies, we encourage to keep your puppy intact, but this does not mean it needs to be used for breeding. NO breeding rights are being given since these puppies are registered with the DTK only (not AKC) and our puppies can only be bred in the DTK system with DTK dogs with breeding permits.
